What is Diverse Dining?

Diverse Dining is a transformational program designed to create a community of acceptance. It’s a safe place to be uncomfortable and take the first step in a new direction. We are all human and fear rejection - it's true, my friends!  Diverse Dining creates a space for people of different backgrounds and cultures to come together to remove barriers, engage in meaningful conversation, and foster togetherness through food, fun, and friendship. We all know growth and change are hard. But when we get out of our comfort zone, that’s when true acceptance happens.

What was my role?

I was the design intern for Diverse Dining. My main job was social media curation. I created aesthetically pleasing posts that followed brand guidelines and reflected the themes of the company. I promoted Diverse Dining products such as the takeout box or the Diversitin. When I wasn’t promoting Diverse Dining products I created posts related to various observances in the United States such as Black History Month, Women’s History Month, Pride Month, Denim Day, and many more.
